I've added my own encryptions to any private communication I have. It'll never be as secure as an in person drop but there's probably only a handful of people who could break them. The best security is to not give them a reason to look.

[Cadel has no intention of meeting in person if he can help it. He already knows he has criminal leanings, and keeping his online and real life names separate is explicitly to protect him from that. Even if Abduxel doesn't seem like a cruel person to him, Cadel is too experienced with morally ambiguous people to see that as the end all, be all of character judgements.

That doesn't mean he's unwilling to help, he's just cautious. That phrase it's how I was raised hits him hard, but he remembers saying that to him in their first conversation and is wary that it's being intentionally repeated in order to manipulate him.]

[Cadel stares hard at these words, but he's not that good at reading people. If this is a lie or a manipulation, it's working on him. To him, they read sincere-- they resonate with him. Cadel himself would never have ended up in that kind of situation, not with Prosper dictating his life, but the thing is...

The crime empire Prosper had raised him to run would've created thousands of kids in that situation. Cadel had never thought of it quite so explicitly, but the knowledge of consequences is what made him rebel, what turned him moral. How can he pass up an opportunity to right in some small way one of the wrongs he was almost led to commit himself?]

You should consider coming clean sometime, publicly, to prevent situations like this in the future. You have a sympathetic story and it's old news. It's only effective blackmail because you're placing importance on it and trying to hide it.
