[Cadel stares hard at these words, but he's not that good at reading people. If this is a lie or a manipulation, it's working on him. To him, they read sincere-- they resonate with him. Cadel himself would never have ended up in that kind of situation, not with Prosper dictating his life, but the thing is...

The crime empire Prosper had raised him to run would've created thousands of kids in that situation. You should consider coming clean sometime, publicly, to prevent situations like this in the future. You have a sympathetic story and it's old news. It's only effective blackmail because you're placing importance on it and trying to hide it.
